two of my favourite marvel characters.
i had these two traditional sketches that i wanted to color/update digitally, i started the regular digital paint then i thought why not go and try the now famous mixed technique by using 3d, photos and overpaint.
if i had to doit i had to stay true as much as possible to the initial sketches. it took some time to do that. even though it looks realistic this mixed technique is quite time-consuming. i dont know if its worth it .
i think regular digital painting is much faster, at least for me.
anyway i've included the sketches as well so you can compare between the traditional and the digital.
